About The money goes... When you go to this church, these 'pouches' are passed along a row of seats and people put a small amount in there for the upkeep of the building, heating and special services...

Hi,
I like your composition! The alternating placement of handles, the randomness of the wooden tones. Can't say much, but it works to my eye!

nice capture Petal,
try shooting another version with the pouches full - the effect might be stronger ;-)
regards,
kostas

An unusual composition my dear Petal and I love the patterned effect in the way they are stored. It makes a good abstract sweetie and once again demonstrates that you never miss a photographic opportunity. Well done to you sweetie. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

This is about the same as passing the hat!! They are very interesting in design. Don.

I like this composition. I do wish the upholstered thing in the upper-right corner weren't there, but I imagine you didn't have a lot of room to maneuver.

Hi James,
You're right about the chair (because that's what that 'thing in the corner' is... ;-D), but it was a big/heavy one for starters and I don't think they would've been too amused about me re-arranging the churches interior... on the other hand, might've been fun to try... LOL!!

James Cook   {K:36725} 7/21/2006
Those church people can be so perticular about the placement of furnishings. No appreciation for the artist anymore...
