Hi John, this is usually what you see before they're gone in .05 seconds. Glad he granted you some shots(they don't usually like shots)

Randy

Yep he does!
How neat to see him, glad you got a few shots!

Good one, John,
Lori :)

A good one before he left, John!
Dave.

This is usually the view that you get. Recently I had one of these hit my right front fender and some $3000.00 later it was fixed.

Hi John, Looks like you were caught in the act :)
really made for a beautiful shot, I like the nice head turn and curious look, excellent as always..

Good composition, John. I like the alert look over his shoulder. A keeper. Larry

nice capture... you have to be quick sometimes to catch them :) good work

Good capture John . . . my experience with whitetail deer has been to see the white of the flipped up tail disappearing at a high rate of speed except for once when we LITERALLY walked into each other nose to nose and both did a panicked retreat! :)

Great composition - presentation and colors.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Very nice shot John. I find it interesting because of the interaction with you. His body looks like is ready to flee. Great capture. :) Andree

He is gorgeous. Lovely composition showing him in his natural habitat. It always amazes me how deer can disappear so quickly in thick brush that looks like one could not run through.
