Hi Mr. Alaei,
Nice work, you shown very well one of works daily in the village.
Your composition is very well. Powerful framing that besieged by tow vertical lines in tow side (L&R).
In this shot: Contrast, color tones, natural pose and to apply lines and geometrical figures very well and professional.

Thanks for sharing Mr. Alaei.

Best regards,

Erfani.

Hi Kiarang,

There is a good sense of balance to this photo, with the two different parties separated nicely by the bold coloring of the wall. I like the two opposites present in this image - with the two on the bottom wearing what I assume to be more traditional clothing and the top half clothed in more contemporary style.

A wonderful look into how old and new mix together in everyday life.

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 7/14/2006
it's absolutely Perfect shot dear Mr. Alaei,
not only the colors tones are great, but also I love the distortion effect on composing lines (e.g. white line around and the roof on top).
and the concept which is really fine, out old thoughts and our old society composition.
all of them well captured and I love it.
wish you luck,
Mohammad

Paolo Corradini   {K:53035} 7/14/2006

PAOLO

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49007} 7/14/2006
Dear Mohammad porooshani!
it's interesting. if i had skill in using PS tools, i was thinking to Skew the white lines in lower right to find better harmony in vertical composition, but i didn't it.
and you mentioned that it works well.
thanks for the time you've taken to comment it...

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49007} 7/14/2006
Humble thanks Paolo!

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 7/14/2006
I think it's pretty good now and it does not need any skewing,
this kinda angles are nice but must be understood, maybe someone does not like but I prefer this than the perpendicular angles,
again nice shot,
Mohammad

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49007} 7/14/2006
I know what you tell.
but anyway, i don't like distraction of the wide lens about the lines at all, specially when we are talking about architecture lines.
thanks for discuss dear mr.porooshani!

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 7/14/2006
well,
you know, if the angle was less than what is now, then, it may become really unfair,
this natural pose of model is my prove,
if this distortion was not exist, then it looks like we are interfering with their talk very unfair,
but now, our point of view is something like a passer by point of view that is a natural and good to see shot, plus we have more depth here,
thanks for coming in discussion here, I think this place is the best for talking about photographs but we all forgot about it!
My bests,
Mohammad

Kiarang Alaei   {K:49007} 7/14/2006
Yes, ofcourse. it's a paradise.
humble thanks to you for taking time Mr porooshani!

marta boro   {K:3245} 7/14/2006
This image is of an extraordinary complexity and beauty. As composition, both floors, slightly inclined and both simultaneous scenes out of center. And like subject completely contrasting. As well as the colors of botht parts. The women with the typical traditional clothes and also supposedly the construction. On the contrary the superior part where the men are located appears much more modern in all its senses. The whole of the image is brilliant, full of meaning and different customs combined in a same image.I do not know if it really is thus but this idea fascinates to me! Such artist are you !!!!! Greetings,Marta:_))

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 7/14/2006
Finally, check this out for what you wanted to do with Photoshop.

Joel Aron   {K:14920} 7/15/2006
Wow Kiarang!

The balance of this image is amazing! As I scrolled down (viewing on my powerbook)... the image unfolded with such beauty. I started looking at 3 men, talking.... in their own world, and with that in mind, i scrolled down...to find another world. The women are so perfectly captured, and so at peace with this brilliant slice of life.

I love the colors, and the tones that hold each detail together.

Very good composition!

well done my friend!
cheers,
-joel

shima soltani   {K:132} 3/29/2008
Whith a brief look to above photo, we discover the likeness of it's theme to works of Painter Behzad.
The saturated colours and men's figures reperesent the Iran's native culture.
What's presented in photo is a sense of simplicity and confidence.

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33999} 5/13/2008
A timeless istant.
