About My work took me to London for 4 days, with only a day of free time to wander around a city I love to visit.

Here starts my one day walking trip around London.
(Phil, you have inspired me to start posting these pictures! thank you my friend!)

Walking through Hyde Park, just across from Buckingham Palace, is one of the best ways to start an adventure around the city. Even better so when your Hotel starts you off there.

My first few images from the walk were of a mother duck, and her children on the shore of the lake across from the boathouse.

Wild upside down reflection of the sky, park, and me taking the picture.

How the over head angle can impress viewer; it's realy stange.
the flat perspective of the O.V.H angle and the curve in 1/3 of upper part makes a wonderful composition study that's adorable.
the idea is nice, the exposure is like a painterly mood with soft tones and a texture for enhancing the visual mood.
and more than it all, it's nice that all these little subjects are in their natural moment and act.
bravo Joel.
harmonic shot that i can hang it on a wall and look it for several minutes.

Agree with all comments above, but still debating whether this is quite as good as your other shots, hmmmm...

Howdy Michael!

Hows the new car?

I'll tell ya, I'm having a tough time with my images from London. This was the *only* one that I feel emotion with. One glance at the contact sheet of the images, and you can tell I was stressed out with work... the images look rushed, and out of balance. This one, as it's the first... was the most relaxed. I fear that it may be my only image from London to post. I may have to come back to it in a few weeks. ...as usual...

Thanks for the honest comments again! you make me think!

hope all is well!

cheers,
-joel

But the best part is the semicircle of ducklings. It must have taken hours to pose them that way:)
Thanks,
Jan

Hi Joel! I see, this is the one you referred to! Quite an unusual angle, but very interesting. Great colours, textures and - of course - utterly CUTE!
