Michael:
I know you're a great photographer and usually feel way too inexperienced to critique your shots. This one, though caught my eye. . . as have others in the past . . . In My Opinion . . . though . . . this is a bit TOO minimal . . . not enough interest left to cause the eye to continue to look or even to want to continue to look. I'm sure it's quite good on a technical level . . . composition - tones, etc. . . . but on an aesthetic level . . . at least for me personally . . . this just doesn't do it.

In a bizarre twist of fate . . . the color one came up after I commented. I DO very much like it. Can't tell you why . . . but it DOES catch my eye and convey an emotive reaction.

Keep commenting, good or bad - usefilm is a proving ground for my photographs, and often a "weeder". Also, I can look back and say - that sure didn't work!
