Well done, Jason! I like the idea of the same place photographed in different times, conditions, seasons etc. and you've done that well here.
Dave.

great idea Jase! if you had of left your camera in the same spot it would have been even better though. (or did you just crop them differently?) you've got some dust top RHC :) Bet you're having fun with your new lens!

Magnus Beierlein   {K:1508} 7/16/2006
Excellent idea...carried out to perfection

nice series of images.... great view and capture..my only comment is on the gap between the photos.. each photo seems to be floating and not really tied to together. Maybe a border around all of the photos would help tighten the composition a little. The top left part of middle photo seems to disappear because of the white sky...a border could help that area as well.. But, the images themselves are great... nice work.

Carlen Schmidt   {K:7061} 7/18/2006
Interesting sequence of images. Did you take them all on the same day or at different times? I was going to suggest trying this with borders but I did in psp and I think I like dropshadows better. I would try using a different background colour though instead of white to make your pictures stand out more. (I liked a light blue from the first pic)

Rob Graziano   {K:6146} 7/19/2006
This is great Jase! Congratulations on the well deserved award!!! Wish I could have commented on this one while I was on my road-trip. :)

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13438} 7/19/2006
Oh, Jason, I am so happy that the judges agreed with my nomination!!! The moment I saw this one, I felt it was award material.

Congratulations! It's a wonderful triptych!

Cheers

Leora Long   {K:10049} 9/12/2006
This triptych is a memorable achievement. I will enjoy looking at it in my favs.

Looks like a natural segue from late in the day sun to dusk to night...how long did it actually take from first to last shot?

And is it near Sydney? I have never been to Australia.

Cheers, Leora

Jason Mckeown   {K:19920} 9/14/2006
thanks for taking the time to look and comment Leora, this is on the gold coast in Queensland near Brisbane, it was taken over two days with the left shot one day and the other two the following afternoon/evening. if you look at my portfolio you'll see some shots from Sydney

Cheers Jase

Leora Long   {K:10049} 9/14/2006
Hi Jase, my husband also agreed that this is exceptional and I enjoyed seeing your other shots.

I never saw the opera house photographed so beautifully before.

Have a nice day, Leora

Bruce Harper   {K:5305} 9/28/2006
Nicely done Jason. I like the point of view that it shows the coast coming to life as the lights come on.
