What a smile, dear Andree & what a portrait!
The news has to be divided in two. Our northern cities are under almost constant bombardment by Hezbollah rockets & vice versa. There's also fierce fighting close to the frontier to try to detect the launchers & prevent Hezbollah from infiltrating. Tel Aviv, where we live, has been spared so far, but most of the northern cities have been at least 50% evacuated. Our daughter, who lives about 20 miles south of us has a family has a family of four as guests from a northern city. The damage on the Lebanese side is also big, but as far as we know, we try to avoid targeting citizens unless the Hezbollah uses them to fire rockets from their homes & even then they are warned to leave their homes.
Cat-wise, the cat has outwitted the cat hunter twice & I continue feeding it daily. It still doesn't allow me to touch it & we still have no name for it (it's probably female) but it seems to be getting stronger & its fear is specific of the cat-catcher. I visited it with our grand-daughter yesterday & it didn't disappear as it does when it sees the cat-catcher.
So that's the news, dear Andree I'll let you know of further developments on either front.

excellent. amazing eyes. might consider darkening upper left a tad, then bring up the whole w/slight increase brightness & contrast?
