Most beautiful! Have not seen the B&W but I think this colour is stunning! I don't think the B&W would do this scene justice...
You have caught an amazing sunset.. I love the dreamlike feel found here.. the gold highlights of the sun & its effect on the sand.. the smoky smooth water & amazing pink tipped clouds.. fantastic!

Ms. Mel, without the lens flare it is much better.

I prefer this one. Would like to see it without lense flare in the sun. Well taken.

Dreaming in color now! Love this version also Mel...I'm still partial to the b&w version, added flare and all...guess it's all a matter of taste huh? In color or b&w, it's still stunning! Take care...Robin

I like this one alot better, the colors are great and I didn't care for the lens flare, it looked to fake.

Haven't seen the other yet but this one has some beautiful warm color and a great use of shutter speed. Awesome!

I much prefer this version Mel, as I think many others do, as evident from the number of views & comments. To be honest, I think the natural lens flare is still just abit too strong, however the light hitting the foreground is really amazing.
Were any graduated filters or adjustment layers used to keep the sky from overexposing?
Cheers, Chris

Another excellent seascape with greatlight. That 2.5 second exposrue is surprising but such awesome results.
It looks like Queensland has some beautiful beaches. I can only hope to ever visit.
Best wishes, Dave
