so nice shot.
the composition is great.
how you could take this place?!

Amir:

You can walk right up to the front gate, and there is a big lawn. With a moderate telephoto lens, say 100 mm you can get this shot.

You have to wait to position yourself close to the gate and shoot through the spaces.

Our paths almost crossed. I was there in the early spring.

Pat:

I'm really digging your shot, especially the timing of actually having the helicopter fly over.

michael, michael, michael, you came to DC and didn't call?? tsk, tsk. :) just messing with you, but it would've been great to meet up. i could've given you the vip tour :)

take care,
tom

Tom:

I'm known for not calling when I breeze through on vacation with my wife. Just ask Carol Watson.

Good to see the capitol, the non-VIP tour was enough for us.

nice shot michael, altho i find the foreground just a tad dark. surprised they even allow photos of the white house these days, from any distance.

hope you enjoyed your vacation. james
