About This is for Michael Kenny.

In the Skeena River Valley, amid the mist and rain of the once virgin forest along British Columbia's coast, the Tsimshian-speaking people have long known of a rare white bear. A spirit bear that they believe possesses great power. They call it "Moksgm'ol". It is seldom seen, very rare and illusive. Wayne McRory, a biologist, has named it 'ursus Americanus kermodei', or Kermode for short.

I 1988, my husband and i were vacationing in NW British Columbia and were very honored to have one of these rare wonderful bears wander across the road in front of us, then quietly graze in the grass at the roadside.

In keeping with the uniqueness of this creature, I have placed it in this magical waterfall setting.

Great shot, both technically and artistically (my spelling does not look right lol). Great to read your info on it too. It is so good to get the phtographer/Artiste's views on their work. TY.

A beautifully devised shot my dear Shirley and at least on this occasion I can appreciate the techniques involved in it's creation. Two wonderful compositions and then comes the real work. The shutter speed to produce the silken waters was well chosen and the effects enhance the bear and it's rarity. Your excellent about is greatly appreciated. Well done to you sweetie. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Thank you, again, dear Ray! This is the same waterfall as in "Aethereal Waterfall", but a slightly different view. One of my most favorite places.
