The colors really make this image outstanding. I love the vibrant green color and the blue flowers contrast very well. The dof is perfect. Thanks so much for your recent comments. :)

Chris Sitter   {K:1792} 7/24/2006
Wonderful colours, superb composition, well done. I don't even know how I could experiment with a similar look as you have acheived such a perfect contrast of background.

A breathtaking little poem, Giuseppe!

Anson Moye   {K:3473} 7/25/2006
A unique and beautiful image of threw small flowers who could have been overwhelmed by the colors around them, but they aren't. You have made an extraordinary image, Giuseppe, where the three small delicacies of blue command the attention of the viewer. Well composed. Beautiful lighting, with the background out of focus and only the yellow bands of flowers to compete. I really like this one, Giuseppe, a classic image. Anson

Ameed El-Ghoul   {K:42188} 7/25/2006
Hi Guiseppe, What a wonderful capture you have here, it is an award winning in my humble opinion, extreamly wonderful composition and great DOF that adds lots of flavor, great background, simply perfect, very well done,

Bella nella sua semplicità, l'accostamento cromatico in armonia con soli 3 o 4 colori è straordinario
hai un gusto ed occhio notevole...complimenti
Ciao Giuseppe

Maurizio

Paolo Corradini   {K:51796} 7/25/2006

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 7/25/2006
Thanks Chris I am glad that you like the photo. At sunset the long shades of a tree branches were playng on the meadow. A F/200 mm lens close to the little flowers made the blurring.
Thanks again for the interest.
Take care.

Giuseppe

Ms. Mel Brackstone   {K:6455} 7/25/2006
Stunningly beautiful image Giuseppe. Bravo!

Eb Mueller   {K:22993} 7/26/2006
It doesn't get any simpler than this! Such wonderful art, Giuseppe! The tonality of the flowers is great in itself but what appears to make the composition remarkable are the bakground highlights sweeping to the right with the flowers on the left! Well done!
Eb

Alessandro Capelli   {K:34260} 7/27/2006
Bellissima macro Giuseppe!
Ciao, Ale

Thanks very much Yomma for your interest. I have visited your house recently built. There is a steady progress in all the uploud. We say: "If are roses they will blossom". It seems to me that they are already flowering.

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 7/29/2006
Grazie Alessandro per i tuoi due bei commenti. Sono aster, della famiglia delle composite, contro lo sfondo di un prato ben tenuto coperto dalle ombre di un grande albero incombente.
Grazie ancora.
Ciao.

Giuseppe

Chris Sitter   {K:1792} 7/29/2006
Thank you for your interest Giuseppe, but truly my florals don't hold much of an interest compared to what you have acheived. I shall be watching your work closely! On the second page of my profile are two florals that represent my best attempt so far but you have inspired me to try more! So I will work hard to try and please you :)

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:97587} 7/30/2006
Hi Giuseppe!

Though it has been hard to decide, I prefere this one from your last 4 photos, because of the perfect sharpness of the foreground, the perfect softness of the background, the extraordinary bright colors of the flowers and their beautiful distribution along the foreground.

A very peaceful and dreamy photo. Just like sitiing out there in summer and enjoying nature in contemplation! Wonderful!

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 7/30/2006
Nick I did not intended one any four! One in all!
But I cant say I am sorry for that. You made an excellent work also with your second gift, the pen.
Thanks Nick. Ciao.

Giuseppe

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 7/30/2006
Nick don't call me ...! I need a reliable opinion. If you read my last upload of the plumbago flower (ID 1154934) you understand why.
Thanks very much.

Giuseppe

Pretty, pretty, pretty! Great simplicity with awesome colours & DOF!

Daniele Di Marco   {K:529} 8/6/2006
Ciao Giuseppe!!
Scatto davvero ben esegito, ottini toni e dettaglio, ma la cosa che più mi piace è il netto stacco tra il primo piano e lo sfondo, conferisce allo scatto un tono onirico e perticolare.

I miei complimenti!
Ciao.
Daniele.

Pradnya D   {K:3833} 8/11/2006

Pradnya

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:97587} 8/11/2006
Giuseppe, one of all is very very difficult. And I think that it would also be a bit of... unfair for your work, since it would be somehow, well, trying to tell what is the best song of some of my favorite bands. A bit hard to compare so many photos in different styles and compositions. A hope I could make understandable what I mean. In groups of four it becomes often a bit easier, though still not always.

As about a reliable opinion, well, for me an opinion about a photo (and arts in general) can only be reliable up to the limit of personal preference as there is no such thing like a set of rules that distinguishes between "good and bad" in arts. It is much more the thread of thoughts that some opinion may introduce, the direction into which the brainstorming flows after reading some comment. I am always astonished to see how such opinions reveal some things to me that I myself don't see even on my own photos!

Cheers,

Nick

Grzegorz Markowski   {K:3545} 8/11/2006
nice colors- more sharpness I think:)

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 8/11/2006
Thanks Grzegorz, I am glad for your comment.
What do you mean with more sharpness: that is better to increase the overall sharpness of the image?
Thanks again.
Greetings.

Giuseppe

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 8/11/2006
I am glad that you like this picture, Marija. I visited your home still under construction but already beautiful. I like your style, your taste for colours and the poetic vein. I will come again and see how the house grows.
Good night.

Giuseppe

Giuseppe Guadagno   {K:33980} 8/11/2006
...I don't see even in my photos. You see the whole following the exitement of a moment ad the photographic inspiration, the others analyse what you have done. In all forms of art the synthesis comes before the analysis.
Nocturn thouths... brrr!
Thanks Nick. Good night.

Giuseppe

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:97587} 8/14/2006
Exactly! (But there are also some strange cases where analysis comes before synthesis.)

In any case, I'll go.. nocturing and continue analysis since it is a great improvement for my own ways to see, to recognize, to talk with all of you.

Good night Giuseppe!

Nick
