This image has a lot of depth. I love the lone tree acting as a focal point. Seeing the tree through the derelict building emphasises the decay. I think it is the fenceline going back into the distance that gives this image so much depth. Nice work. Cathy

I love the tree. ..."in the end only the trees will stand".

Thanks Nuno and so true. Would make a great title.

Greg - I can't believe you bet me - grrrr! hehe
Wicked shot - your "one tree hill" looks great!

Cheers Sons

My honest comment. The ruin of a poor house in a desert land well deserves stark contrasts for a dramatic mood. The identical tone of the three and the hill don't give the right evidence to the beautifully located three; I think.
Take care.

Giuseppe

Thanks Giuseppe for your comments. I understand what your saying and agree. Maybe I used to much burn on the background and not enough on the foreground. Anyway thanks and appreciate your honesty.
Regards Greg

Interesting abandoned place where your angle view and arrangement gave it an impact, I can see this image with dramatic look by more works on the background, as to give a good contrast and dramatic look, though well executed work.

like the way you have got the hill and building . think it could be improved with foregrond gone as it distracts from the clean lines that look so good

greg collins   {K:11940} 7/29/2006
Funny you should say that I have just redone another with a better crop as you say.
Cheers Greg

Oh, I do like that lone tree on the littls hill and how it connects the foregroiund and sky. Intriguing composition. The building leaves one wondering what the story might be that goes along with this place.
