Lavendu.. hello! Slarti was once a pentax *istds. His/her full name is Slartibardfarst.
I thought Slarti had an eastern european ring to it to go with some cheap eastern european lenses I was starting to pick up for it. I have since been told by an eastern european that it does not sound particularly eastern at all.
I'm finding it a fine camera, the ccd on it was the same as that used in nikon d70 at the time.
