I, as you well know, do a lot of florals but I still haven't coverted a single one to mono tones. I am full of admiration for lots of monochromatic floral studies that I get to see but none of mine ever look right....maybe it's because my mind is full of their natural colour.
This is a really beautiful mono toned composition my dear Shirley with gorgeous details and a lovely balance to it. I guess part of the secret lays in a simplistic layout rather than a total riot of growth. I just love the totally black bokeh, it is so right for this fine shot. Well done sweetie, you are such a clever girl. Take care......I might catch up with yesterday's work today before today becomes yesterday tomorrow. I think I need another cup of tea.
