A very dramatic effect from the single sidelight source my dear Andree. A beautiful toning effect from the conversion and a wonderful soft effect from wide aperture at fairly close range. A wonderful intimate portrait study sweetie, well done you. All the very best....Ray

Wonderful and so striking. The lighting and the eye- a classic and so atmospheric.

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 7/29/2006
great portrait with nice tone! the shadows and highlights are perfect which makes it mysterious! it seems that she is trying to say something, something difficult to explain!
bravo and good luck Andree!

Doyle D. Chastain   {K:99842} 7/31/2006
Interesting DOF . . . great conversion and a fine dramatic portrait as a result!!! Love the single light source and the light in the eye bringing out a tad bit of detail . . . Nice work!

Doyle I <~~~~~

Salvatore Rossignolo   {K:13547} 7/31/2006
A very artistic rendition of this portrait, not so processed as to 'cartoon' it but just enough to give the interplay between the light and dark drama.Very well done indeed Andree!
