WOW!!!

Absolutely spectacular! I like the DOF and the coloring is awesome, as is that huge sun!
Not quite sure, but maybe the horizon is just a tad tilted? :)

Very nice work,
Lori :)

ps...have a GR8 day!

Nice shot but the foreground out of focus is distracting to me. Since you had it on a tripod why not try a small aperture to get all the plants in focus?

Really beautiful!!!Bravo Ciprian

This is very beautiful, Ciprian, with that abstract touch. Focus versus out-of-focus, a challenging creation, but the result is very pleasant. I believe this is how we'd see the sunset lying in the grass and turning the head towards the horizon.
Best regards,
Gabriela

Dear Phillip,

Thanks for the comment. There was quite a lot of this vegetation present, and I really didn't want all of it in focus. I was going for the moody blurry feel, and thought that a smaller aperture would have renderred the whole scene in focus.

Looking at it with a fresh pair of eyes today I can see how the foreground is now distracting and agree with your comment. Tough call. Still like the photo, but there is loads of room for improvement.

Many thanks,
Ciprian
