About "In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea.
So twice five miles of fertile ground
With walls and towers were girdled round:
And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills,
Where blossomed many an incense-bearing tree;
And here were forests ancient as the hills,
Enfolding sunny spots of greenery."
Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Great composition with perfect sharpness and wonderful colors.
I would have liked to see a bit of interest amongst the "Organ" pipes in the background to provide a focal point.

Thanks! M

Excellent "about" for a very original and well done composition. Wonderful tones in the background like in a mistery tale, unusual pose of the model...

A beautiful creation of both fantasy and science fiction my dear Shirley with the lovely Anna showing that gorgeous auburn hair (same as my youngest daughter) and no interest other than her destination which lays before her. An unusual pose but she faces her future and only the past is behind her. I also imagine she contemplates a leap of faith to cross the chasm to meet her destiny.

I keep trying to imagine how your imagination runs sweetie.....You set out to take images and at some stage your creative talent guides you to taking a rear view of Anna because it will be handy for such and such a theme....very much a what comes first, the chicken or the egg. Wonderful work yet again my dear Shirley. Very best wishes.....Ray

I do love how you get into my imagination, Ray!:) When I take these various poses of my models, I don't always have anything specific in mind, but sometimes, I do. I love your wonderful comments!:)
