About .....lifes mental noise moves toward you and becomes trapped in thoughts and disfigured, transformed into some strange, mad illusion, distorted by the unconscious mind, a harmless fragment easily and quickly becomes a destructive monster....the rock however, and it's passenger, stand tall and unflustered by the flow, it merely acknowledges their presence by moving aside and passing by in one swift, endless, peaceful motion.....don't let the bastards get you down, they know who they are!

I love your beautiful water detail, David...and enjoyed your words to go with it.:)

Hi Shirley, thank you for your comment on 'transformed' - the inspiration came from the Serpentine River in New England National Park in northern New South Wales - a special place. I look forward to visiting your portfolio - it looks exciting. cheers, david.

Great abstract and BW, David! Wonderful about, as well.

Yeah I reckon this has suffered at the hands of UF in the compression for the upload David but I can see a beautiful print here in the flesh.. great work reminds me of Ian Pooles work… great tracery round the rock and terrific sentiments expressed in your about.. not quite sure who u r tilting at but hell knows there are enough targets for any man in a lifetime from the top, down…

david henderson   {K:11401} 8/1/2006
Hey Roger, thanks for the info about compression, not sure on the technical stuff but you have encouraged me to get a print done!....I suppose the spirit of it is for anybody who is building barriers to things in their unconscious mind, so as to create an unhappy distraction....you're right, there are plenty of targets out there. cheers, david.
