Garold Jennings   {K:2513} 7/29/2006
Fatemeh you continually amaze me with your art. I say art because not only because the photographs composition is wonderful but the idea that it portrays is evident. The single color in the B&W is overwhelming in its simplicity. The mundane things in our world are what we call LIFE. Great title, and strong photograph that should be recognized by usefilm. Another of Fatemehs’ photographs in my favorites.
Be safe dear friend,
Garold

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55380} 7/29/2006
Dear Fatemeh
Such a simple yet powerful image due to the title and mood. The use of B/W combined with that one "lifethread" in blue is excellent.
We all have dreams that don´t come true and can relate to that situation. Some people are trapped in lifeconditions of various kinds for some reason that means that breaking out and fulfilling a dream is impossible, and that is sad. Still we also have to consider what means the most to us because not all dreams were meant to be fullfilled.
Take care,
Annemette

Paolo Corradini   {K:50745} 7/29/2006

PAOLO :))

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 7/29/2006
Fatemeh this is wonderful- for appearance and thought! To have not just the ball of wool, but the single thread colourful that reaches the individual so important. And to see more of the indiviaul postitive. A striking pair of pictures that go together so well. To me it is full of hope and possiblitities that may come true. Even if they don't, following the hope is just as important. The reality of chances with the white thread so clearly shown.

Hind S. Al-Hashimy   {K:2851} 7/29/2006

A thought provoking image. The composition forces my attention on the yarn and the knitting hands. Great symbolism of the knitting of life!

stingRay .   {K:136763} 7/29/2006
A fabulous example of selective colouring my dear Fatemeh and having produced items like this to amuse my family I know how much time and patience is needed during postwork. I love the in-camera crop to this composition with the blue wool ball gradually leading us up to the woman's busy fingers. Excellent creativity my dear friend, so a big well done to you. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray

roberto canepa   {K:7373} 7/29/2006

sanjeev jain   {K:8525} 7/29/2006
life is like rainbow full of colours where each colour has its own thrill and its own expression it is human mind that dreams and wants to weave particulars which sometimes is not natures way which is what hurts him the most he goes in dipression but try to see the facilities of present moment what colour it mixes for you. on the photrgraph i see the woman is more lonley with her lonely hands...... but i like her innocence of fixing two strings beautiful comp fatemeh

Muss an Vieles denken beim betrachten deines Fotos.
Die Frau gibt eine warme Geborgenheit.
Ihre Arbeit fügt verschiedenes zusammen zu Einem
was Gibt.
Das wichtigste in einer Familie.
Ein Foto für den Respekt an die Frau und Mutter ohne die nix geht.
Danke

Kevin H   {K:22492} 8/5/2006
Beautiful composition with good use of a light blue. Just enough to catch your attention but not enough to ditract you from the rest of the picture. I wonder what this would look like is you use a wide angle and included the womans face? Keep up the good work.

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 8/6/2006

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 8/6/2006
dear Kevin!
thanks for your critique! i haven't included the woman's face beacuse i though it'd catch all the attention, and maybe the main aim would be lost!
once again thank you!

Mohammad Porooshani   {K:20705} 8/7/2006
Hi dear Fatemeh,
first things first (as ray says Always!)
this shot is really thoughtful for me not because of your constant bold cropping, because of its similarities to a film entitled "A House On the Water" staring Reza Kianian, I'm sure you remeber that,
and then, be sure Colorful dreams will come true as soon as you believe this!
Mohammad

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 8/7/2006
dear Winfried!

Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:92493} 9/24/2006
Oh, I should have looked once again. This one also belongs to those two which I thought connected, "At the dawn!" and "Hesitation". I would think that it must be the first, followed by "Hesitation", and then "At the dawn!", since the thread of life is so well exposed here. And nonetheless it could be used to make the rope for putting an end to all?

Again that unbelievable suggestive power of your images!

Keep it up, keep it up!

Nick

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 9/26/2006
