While visiting the Litang Chode Gompa, the local lamasery in Litang, I caught this small boy looking back at me. You can see the woman is holding a small prayer wheel.
Litang is a small town in the far west of Sichuan, situated high up at over 4000m. It's beautiful out here with the blue sky, rolling grasslands, and lack of urgency to do anything. Life is simple and it takes a long time to get anywhere. Don't come here if you're in a hurry.
