This turned out cool. I did not like the background, no matter what I did I could not clean up the grass, hose and other junk.
I used PaintShop PRO's magic wand to select the rose, then inverted my selection which selected the background. Then I used the Kaleidoscope Effect and got this.... I then used the Gamma Correction to darken the background a bit...
