Simon O'Shea   {K:650} 8/16/2006
Fantastic... but why is the boat behind not trying as hard? Either way, I need to be on the water more...

Chris Hunter   {K:25631} 8/16/2006
Thanks Simon, Ranger actually wasn't racing in Race Week, but was certainly racing into Newport harbor. The majority of boats in the regatta were under 45 ft.

Just superb. For a sailing craft to be driven like this is remarkable. You've captured her "with a bone in her teeth." The combination exposure and composition are just perfect in this image. Too bad you can't capture the entire vessel and still show the detail that is present in your image.
