Here's one I managed to save by working on the RAW image. I forgot I had set the camera to bracket the exposure and only pressed the shutter release long enough for the first of the bracketing sequence. This was about two stops underexposed. I was able to use Silkypix software to develop the RAW image, increasing the effective exposure by two stops and cancelling most of the horrible noise that showed up in the shadows. By concentrating the sharpening on the pink colours of the flowers, I was able to more or less make up for a focusing error at the same time. Phew! Hard work, but another step up the learning curve...
