Kevin, the rose/red of the walls and the deep blue of the sky stand in such a special contrast here, that the impression of a warm golden sunlight is very very intense, though the real light is rather cold. Your leading line to the depth, where the houses get much smaller but still nicely detailed is another magnet for the eye. A tiny bit of overexposition perhaps at the depth but really negligible! And the foreground... what a detailed depiction of those brick walls! They support the atmosphere of old remarkable houses in an even more remarkable place!
