This is my favourite of the two.. the angle is much better to give us more interest in this view. I love the tone here... would call this photo 'the lost cabin' as I can see how easily it could be missed... blends so well with the surrounding area.

Another of your photos that sends my imagination running away... thank you x

Thank you so very much, Sue! Yes, I was very excited when I came across this.:)

I prefer this perspective and only because of the angling of the roof. Beautiful almost sepia-like tones with a hint of gold about them. A lovely atmospheric composition of a peaceful haven away from all distraction. Goodness only knows what lays just behind you or to either side:):) All the best my dear Shirley.....Ray

I've thought I like this angle best, too. Thank you so very much, dear Ray!:)

This is so intriguing- a film and a little mystery. Like the angle and the textures in this.

Wow Shirley
. . . I think this one has the more interest due to a superior composition . . . a much better angle for the structure. You have a great find here and the focus is spot on with loads of pleasingly fine details to tease and please the eyes.
You have very good use of light and shadow . . . and the tones with a hint of golden hues are exquisite! The image can provoke a serious response in the viewer of foreboding as an isolated image alone in the woods and not only being overtaken by the forest . . . but decaying as well.
Or, a viewer may see this as the golden end of a long history . . . though not ended yet. A story that tells of the beauty that remains throughout time . . . the continuity and superiority of nature . . . here shown returning and always triumphant . . . a composition of hope and beauty.
A lot is on the viewer and compositions which present themselves and allow each to see what they will are often in many ways superior to those that don't. This shot is a poem. 7/7

Always Impressed,

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
