I met a photographer recently who had me view this lens from his 30D. It truly is a wide angle lens. I thought my 17 - 40 was great, but this is a very wide field of view.

I'm surprised there arent' more people in this image, but the few that aren't give a nice perspective of how large this area is.

Excellent lighting and very sharp focus.

A striking perspective image, Salvatore! Great symmetry, colours, lines and shapes! Well captured!

Cheers

I'd agree with that sentiment, Sal!
It's a joy to have 100 degrees of photo-vision now.

Very nice Sal. Great colors, symmetry the works. I would've probably waited for the tourists to take a hike before I shot it but that's just my taste.
Cheers

Thanks for the comment Dennis. When I was taking the shot I waited quite a long time for them to scoot out but then I remembered how people in the shot lend scale to the image and they were so far down the hall I figure they would not dominate the shot but they would certainly give the viewer a palpable sense of scale. Thank you again for taking the time to comment.

POV, symmetry, scale and color are all just too cool. The wide angle knocks the shot out of the park. Just too cooooool!

great shot. the slightly out of center symmetry added a more interesting appeal to it. the dark tones worked very well.
