Hi Luis, lot of splendid photos in your portfolio. I noticed you greatly use digital cameras too (I used them for a while, but I was not satisfied), above all I was impressed by the Tango series (I envy you!! ;) ), but also this portrait is wonderful, a so beautiful and sad face... the thumbnail dosn't show the grains and details at all.
the thumbnail didn't catch my eye, i just opened it because of it's award recieved to can feel it better and now:
i see it's a wonderful work that all structures have combined artistically in it. bravo Luis!

Esta es fantástica pero una pregunta, por qué el hombro derecho de la niña está borrado y aparece una vestimenta por detras de otro niño al que parece has borrado sólo parcialmente, pero lo mismo estoy equivocado lo que suele suceder con frecuencia; un abrazo y disfruta el merecido premio

I'm a sible father for almost 30-years, that way I'm so sensative for the fate of kids.
I been in south America in Peru, seen many tragic sytuations, most of the people at the western countrys, thy don't care about that, they cara only the maney and business.
The money ist the God for them and business the religion. Most of them they are the mambers of rats race. It's reality.

Y hablando de semiotica, y me topo con esta foto. Deja toda clase de sensaciones. no creo que esta sea una imagen periodistica, creo mas bien que se trata de una imagen de un impacto que va mas alla de la denucia. Felicitaciones, muy buena foto.

Mi querido nuevo amigo...un verdadero descubrimiento en este sitio que cada día me sorprende más...Estoy cansado de decir que una imágen es como un espejo...que remite a las propisa vivencias y experiencias y que tiene tantas lecturas como espectadores de las misma hubiera...en otros términos que se trata de SIGNIFICANTES.- Y es verdad no es una imágen periodistica, cuál es la temporaidad o espacialidad de esta niña, de donde es...es la humanidad...es un pueblo...Es un dilema...Pero paradojalm,ente provoca sensaciones en el espíritu en el alma, emociones -tu me entiendes..?- de tal suerte alguien -vos en este caso- has encontado algoq ue te ha tocado alguna fibra de tus emocionews atávicas...
Eso es semiótico...? En apariencia no lo es...pero es para un debate y seguramente a esta altura de tus pesada lectura estas abrumado con tantas palabras...No era un sitio de fotografía...?
De pronto se aparece un demente que habla de estas cosas...es algo imprevisto...Enjoy it...Bueno Alex we keep in touch seguramente..JAJAJAJA.- Un capo abrazo.- LUIS
