About Taken on a sunny afternoon, There are 100 trees on the top of this hill, I was trying to capture the feel of the place. In PS I blurred the background to give the image a softer feel.

Ahh Kevin. The title drew me in straight away - you see all the american scenic spots on Usefilm but never May Hill. I'm living in Chelt and took my first few pics back in Jan this year up on Mayhill. I love your low perspective here. Nice to see a local portfolio - I didn't realise Safeway had more to offer than just food!

dramatic... soft and sharp, light and shade... nice tones

This blurring effect has worked well giving an added dimension to this shot. Try some more techniques on this one Kev such as sepia. You have placed the trees well and the light and shade on the ground is very effective. May Hill looks very inviting - now - where are my walking boots?
