Sylvie, good story telling image. IMHO I would crop down at the top to eliminate the light colored area in the middle. Through my eyes only.

Beautiful vibrant colours, lovely earthy tones and a clean and simple image. Makes for a stunning photo.

Very nice photograph with nice colors. Perfect composition. Boys mode is very much appropriate for the bit moody, misterious structures around..for me, this is a really good work.

Good. Compo and colours work well.

Of course... in Gorée, where the slaves waited to be embarked somewhere else, and died by the hundreds... A living museum of mankind horrors. You have a good shot but in that place you could find much better to show us. Still, I enjoyed to see this work.

Hi Burak,
I saw your gallery, there are so many great photos !!!
Thanks for your comment to one of my first post here. I don't know very well how the site works for the moment.
Regards
Sylvie

Olà Carlos,
Of course, there are so many things to show about the House of Slaves in Gorée but I chose this image because of its symbolic value, a child turning his back as if he was rejecting all that happened there. Rather than showing clearly and simply the corridors and the door of the voyage with no return that most people taking photos there could show ...
Muito obrigada pelo comentario :)

Very good Sylvie,
The light was really cooperating for you that day. The lay of the shadow on the ground is perfect for the balance in this image. The sun-lit area may be just a bit harsh, but not terribly so.
Andre
