I love this, Shirley. It has the romantic elements you are famous for and I am surprised that it is not conjured up in your imagination! The branches on the outside of the window are surreal in contrast to the glass layer and the muted plants behind. Three distinct layers, so beautiful!

Shirley, I am very cogniscent of your straight photography as it is so masterful. "Straight" work is relative. A photograph should be better than real, perhaps surreal in a profound way. This photo of yours meets that criteria and lives a life of its own!
