original.great abstract.cong.

Branimir Fagarazzi   {K:38367} 8/12/2006
Excellent shot

Eb Mueller   {K:22715} 8/12/2006
A bit scary, Fatemeh! Perhaps my thoughts take me to frightening prospects. The way you have composed this with the fall of shadow and light greatly accentuates the visual drama. The large portion of negative space, below, has a great pull - another dynamic. A simple composition and very well done!

Hi Fatemeh! Love the original idea and execution! The small feet have a lot of space below them ... one day it will be filled :)

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 8/12/2006
Brilliant- what a series! I can't imagine the next! This can still be a game of two halves for me Fatemeh. The lighting makes me think like that too. Someone who has hung themselves or a relaxed person sitting and playing with their feet like a child! An amazing image that hits immediately.

Laura Spell   {K:24080} 8/12/2006
Dramatic image! The low light combined with shadows makes me wonder what is happening. Tone and details are excellent.

andree lerat   {K:16731} 8/12/2006
I am always surprised by the range of emotions your sometimes so simple compositions evoke. Great imagination. :) Andree

Oh dear! Just I hope you did not hang up anyone for shooting this image! Lol! It is an image beyond description! My truthfully and honestly complement for composing this idea! As Eb said it is a bit scaring in deed, however it is a sensitive and mysterious illustration, which provokes extraordinary both my brain and my emotion for reaching the point of the image: “At the Down!” Concerning to technical view, as everyone acknowledge, the image has excellent lighting and darkness. The large empty space below has done your dramatic observation absolutely perfect. 7++
Best regards: Maxime

Annemette Rosenborg Eriksen   {K:55377} 8/16/2006
Oh Fatemeh- this is so expressive. The feet that takes one through life physically has now left the ground unwilling to walk anymore, the anonymous person unwilling to step further in life due to...? Such a strong image due to the B/W-tones, crop, angle and the meaning opr lack of meaning that is displayed. Excellent work as always, Fatemeh!
Best wishes,
Annemette

Rick Page   {K:4677} 8/16/2006
You have great vision and a talent for turning simple photo ideas into art!! ...from Rick

sanjeev jain   {K:8525} 8/19/2006
....at the dawn........
the image and the title gives me a feeling, after the whole night of struggle, the woman took this decision. she lost the war yersterday night that went in her mind and at the first ray of light we can see her defeat...she now lost the contact with earth... in the photo the empty space below show it well ...i wonder when giving birth to ourself is not in our hand then how come taking our life is in our hands....and again, i wonder how this world teaches wisdom to the child....such sight always creates very helpless feeling in me where was this man called god when the person was hanging himself out this is not natural way of going to his kingdom why he didnot mentioned it ...feets in the photo appears like a morning dew drop is hangin on the leaf to fall..all night tiny particle got collected and by the moring it became drop that hangs on the leave to finally fall on earth to disappear in the sky.....good work....
joan beaz has wrote beautiful lines in one of her song of the struggle of the man and later hanged himself at the dawn.....

Fatemeh Rahimi   {K:13653} 8/19/2006

Fatemeh: You have some amazing creativity and a mind that can use symbols and emotions as conveyed in your photos with the ease most of use for words. Always well thought out . . . you seem to make this look easy . . . though clearly it isn't. Impressed again! :)
