About Our first real stop in our summer vacation: Badlands national park. Real interesting landscape, mix of red and white, sharp edges. This pic was taken from our campsite. No water available... but great hicking trails to do. And real hot temperature, you must take a lot of water with you. Once you're in the trail, there's no trees or shadow. Only rocks.

Beautiful scenery Jacques, the Badlands don't look too bad to me. Lol, only playing a bit with words. Very impressive landscape, you had a good first stop on your hollidays. Wasn't it too hot over there?
Take care my friend,

Klaas

Beautiful image my friend! Was it as hot there as it was in Louisiana? Hope all is well there! Darlene

Good capture of the textures and colours of the rocks, Jacques! You've shown those strange striations very well. You're right, I've been there and it is hot!
Dave.

thanks a lot DArlene, it was really hot, but there was no humidity. The only water we can feel is... the one we bring with us, and trust me, you better have a lot to appreciate your hikkings in this area.

Take care my friend.

too hot... just near infernal, you have to drink at least a couple of liters of water each day only to survive :)
Thanks for your visits.
