Ou, can lk,Your question... Perhaps these trees were being cut for a furniture factory, perhaps a long way there tanks stood? It isn't a well-known fact. Warm greetings:)

Isn't this interesting. It looks like an intentionally created bow in each tree for future use. Never seen that before! Well seen and nicely captured symmetry.

Cool. Is there a story they tell children to explain the trees?

James:) Thank You for Your visit. Natives say sometimes, that tanks stood there, sometimes, that trees were clipped to the production of pieces of furniture on purpose. There is now no fabulous version and should invent such tale:) Warm hugs:) Viola

I heard it told that once the great Paul Bunyan visited your Poland and was going to chop the trees down in that forest to build a building. But the trees bent down and pleaded with Paul Bunyan to let them be explaining that they made the children happy and it was much better than to chop them down and build another building. So Paul Bunyan sat down and thought for a good long while about what the trees had asked for and the snows came a went three or four times while he thought. He realized that the trees were right that the children needed a place to play more than they needed another building. And so Paul Bunyan left them trees alone so the children could play in the forest, but it had taken Paul so long to decide that the trees couldn't get up strait afterwards.
At least, that's the way I heard it once...

Now you have a story to tell the children. If they don't believe in Paul Bunyan:
