Beautiful . . . I might have even used LESS focus . . . to capture only the soft colors. Very creative though!

the focusing ring can be a highly effective tool for creative photographers,
and it's a matter of personal taste how far from the 'correct' point you will turn it.
anyway,i think i would defocus more these glass 'lenses' so as to get a more abstract feel...
;)

This would be a great subject for a luxagraphic shot. It's a good array of colors and the black between would help to bring them out correctly. If you have another chance to shoot this ceiling, try some camera motion and see what you can get.
