Welcome back! & I can't wait to see your photos from that trip... especially not if these are anything to go by.
Such a rare sight I imagine, seeing this colour in Africa.. & you've caught it so beautifully here. Would never have guessed where this was taken.
I love the different layers of the landscape you've caught.. what a beautiful place.
I can see even just from these first photos you've been on a trip of a lifetime... maybe someday I will have the opportunity to follow in your footsteps.. until then I will sit back & admire the photos you upload.

This is a superb landscape, Joggie. It's more special to me because my daughter lives and travels the African East Coast and has recently spent a few months in Namibia, so I can't wait to see those pics. Congratulations on your POTD. Cheers, Ann.

Okay, now I see your explanation of the colors. Much like my desert, we have had lots of rain and everything is green and blooming in what should be fall. Just wish I had time to go out and take photos.
