This is so striking. The straight line and the curves. The angle and the sky so beautiful and striking.

Thank you. We are blessed with big clouds in New Mexico.

I like the light on the road

Love those clouds and dramatic light! It seems you may have purposefully tilted the horizon but it is also easy to do by accident.

And it's two separate images if truth be told.
Horizon: I'll have to go and look at the road again. It's hilly.

Nice usage of escape lines, Ruth. And the cloud adds much to the photo.

There is a bit too much grain/noise in the darker parts - was that your intention? I don't find the noise very nice on this one, but that's a rather personal opinion.

Cheers,

Nick

Thanks Nick, It's probably time to upgrade to a new camera. My thanks to for eveyone's comments I wouldn't have seen the big tilt - it' so obvious.
Sometimes I take photos riding my bike. The tilt does give the feeling of motion or at least sea sickness.
