Personally just from the thumbnail I do like the more detailed version...this one. It shows the chew bites on the ball better, but then agin it is a thumbnail I am comparing to.
Now, I of course am a dog (animal) lover... so immediately yoyou had me with the titele... then the shoes and the ball and the serpia tones... Very well done Linda..

Yes my dear he painted all spaces of his around! his career and style is working with "still life"...I just have a old gallic book (Toulouse-Lautrec) and 10 of his works printed on the book!! I don't know him exactly but I truly love his works. I scan and printed some of his paints on A4 papers to show as a example in some lessons at my "basic fine art" classes!
I just guess maybe you, know him!!

As a owner of a 130 dog breeding kennel I know all to well its a dogs world!!! lol
Very lovely capture Linda. Love the tone and the composition. The lighting is very nice and like the dark edges! I have not seen the other yet but when I do, I'll cast my vote!....:)
