About Although the reflections are nice and the are strong diagonal lines i am not so happy with this image. My feeling is that something is missing, the lines lead the eye to ... nothing...
Any suggestions on how to improve on this?

Wouter, not a bad image. I would crop the left side in to get rid of the clump of black, then the horizon would let the eye follow through. Too bad that the top of the blade is cropped too close it is in the reflection but not in the sky. These are my opinions only.

Hi Wouter... this image imediatley caught my eye... you are right.. those reflections are fantastic... I think personally I would have cropped it down to just the two main windmills & then erased that awful pylon (thought that's just my opinion!)

I think you have caught the colours here perfectly... & I really love the silhouetted grass bordering the side.

Keep well & bright

I´m sorry - I really like this image! The only suggestion would be to straighten the horizon. Great shot!
Best wishes,
Annemette

Very impresive Landscape, I do like the DOF and composition here a lot, I also like the lighting and the color tone, this is a very pleasant image to view, wishing you all of the best my friend..

Hmmm. I immediately notice that the tip of the vane of the nearest wind generator is touching the edge of the frame... I feel it needs a little more space than that. Also, all the wind generators appear to be leaning slightly to the left, which is rather unsettling. The power lines crossing in the distance, and that pylon, rather spoil the simple line of the wind generators but of course there's no help for that. Also I think just a little more detail in the shadows (perhaps just enough to make the shore line clear and break up that solid clump of black on the right) might have helped. That said, I think this is a fine scene, beautiful colours, with great potential. I hope you visit it again! Oh yes, perhaps there is more detail in the blacks on your monitor? I know we do not all see things as the photographer himself or herself sees them.

PS My policy on comments is exactly the same as yours...
