Neil,
I was being sarcastic, putting tht cooment on your photo, but I just knew what comment you would get. Its starting to really get me down.
Any way, back to your latest photo...
I always find these shots where the road, wall, track or in this case fence leads a diagonal line a little contrived. The diagonal is a nice tool but it has to lead somewhere in my opinion. I have hundreds of thes photos myself ;-)
Its also a little difficult to work out where the mist is (from the title), is the valley full of mist or is that snow, I'm not sure.
I do actually like the sunset/rise element but the view point and composition are not of the same quality.
Hope that helps a little, and thanks for your thoughts on my submission. Did you know that you actually get more Karma for writing longer crits ? (speed isn't everything)

I like the cool of the snow mixing with the warm colours of the sun. It's a shame that the foreground, although showing detail, is a litle too dark. It would be good if it was a little lighter. I suppose you can't expose for everything with this sort of contrast. Maybe a GND filter would help in this case, therefore letting you expose longer in the foregroung region. I like the composition and think this would make a nice postcard.
