Oh, I'm sorry.
My suggestion should have concluded with,
you can use specialized software to eliminate the noise, such as Neat Image, which offers a free trial version. I used it, liked it, and purchased Neat Image Home + version.

Here's what Neat Image can do, with a setting of 'remove half of the noise' which smooths out the obvious noise without reducing any image detail, Stan.

Dear Stan, I see you said you are a railroad engineer...in the sense of driving a locomotive, or otherwise? My father worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 40 years. He began as a ticket clerk, then ended as head of the local district. I have wonderful memories of my Mama taking me to the depot when Daddy worked nights, when I was very small, and setting me up on the marble counter so I could watch him working behind his big wooden desk. The depot seemed so big to me then, and ehcoed, even though it is relatively small in reality.:) The city recently 'restored' it as an historic site, but it is not really like I remember it. When I first saw it after it was done, I cried. They should have asked some people who remembered how it was.

My Dear Shirley.
Wormest thank for shering with me so nice and pathetic story about your family, very similar to my own.
My grandfather was railrod engineer as one of the very first in Poland, before the first W.W.subsequently my father almost 40 years,then myself twenty years,till my emigration in 1981,to Canada, with my litle two kidz.
In Canada I used to work for 16-years also for railrod com.name Procor till clos ouer branch four years ago.

Mnie tez zawsze podobaja sie czyjes inne fotki bardziej jak moje wlasne.
Te ktore chwalisz, ma usterki, slaba rezolucja, przez niedopatrzenie, a uzylem ZOOM 280 mm, odleglosc byla ok.trzy km. wiec jest duzo szumu.Tego Nikona Coolpix 8700 mam dopiero pare tygodni, wiec ucze sie cyfry od podstaw.
Dzisiaj wracajc z pracy okolo polnocy zatrzymalem sie nad jeziorem, strzelilem pare fotek ze statywu, jutro zobaczysz.
Serdecznisci zycze.

Very nice skyline of To Stan. The lighting is excellent and the framing and crop is very good too. If you want to deal with the noise, you can download NeatImage for free. You sort of get a crippled free version, but it works very well with jpegs, especially with a shot like this where you have one even colour in the sky. You would be pleased with the results for sure.
