So impressive documentary work..
Oh, it's Bam. I just saw the about section.. So u've been there..

Humayun Rizwan   {K:3223} 9/8/2006
Thanks, Sarah. I'm glad u liked it. Yes.. I was there on a relief mission from Save the Children. Spent about 2 months in Bam... living in a tent in a football ground but I'm glad I was able to contribute in a little way to help those people devastated by the earthquake. On the way back saw kerman, spent three days in Isfahan and 2 days in Tehran. I must say that I LOVE Iran and its wonderful people. Would love to go back again under better circumstances. Have some great memories and photographs from that trip that I'll be sharing soon on this site. Where do u live?
Best wishes
Humayun

For 2 months?! great! Thank you indeed as their countrywoman..& glad to hear that u had a nice travel. This country has lots of beauties actulally, but most of them are unrecognized for the lack of public notification & tourist attraction. Anyway our pleasure u liked it & I'm waiting to see rest of the photographs..
I live in the capital city..

Hello dear Humayun,
So sad is the feelings and moods, but finally I can find such a tender feeling from your look...actually your view point. I have to thank you as one of the Iranian people for all your helps that you may did as a doctor on such a sad situation.. I was there from the second day, but I just dont want to think about those days.
and an extra thanks for sharing your works with us. please upload more of your works!

My vote is #7 because of the fine element here; "Simplicity"

-Mohsen,

Thank u so much Mohsen, for ur kind comments. U don't have to thank me for the work I did in Bam for our Iranian friends. It was a personally rewarding experience for me.. to be able to help those in need but I agree it was really SAD. The proportion of tragedy was huge and emotionally very challenging for everyone. As u can see from my pictures.. I have some great memories from Iran and I would love to go back there in better times. I'll be posting more pictures.. as soon a I get time. Thanks once again for ur thoughts

Best regards

Humayun
