About This is a rework of an earlier upload. These are the elongated glass tear drops on a chandelier. I have rotated the image, substancially adjusted the saturation, hues, levels and contrast, which has resulted in this abstract image.

Hey Phil,

Wellllll...... What can I say? Congrats for the BIP, I guess...;) Rotating it 180 degrees does add to the appeal, and is, IMO a good decision. But I'm not so sure about the posterised effect. It looks as if you've lost some of the details. It goes well with the abstract project, though. Unusual vision? Guess that would be appropriate too.

Cheers,

Hugo

Congratulations! Phillip, for the well-deserved award!!! You've polished these tear drops until they turned stalagmitic!!!!The saturated colour is like Munch's "Cry".......nevertheless attractive! Well done!
Gabriela

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 9/2/2006

It's 'glass clear' that this really is 'your' project: glass and abstracts... and you sure know how to pick them... another well deserved BIP, hip hip hip... ;-D!!! Gorgeous colors, great crop, love the upside down view, cool reflection/distortion... well done!!!

James Cook   {K:37604} 9/2/2006
I remember this one. Nice job on the production work. Congratulations on the award.

Christopher Perrin   {K:765} 9/3/2006
Hello Phillip,
Yes this one, it's a very stong abstract. My other favorites are: The Bubble & Pointing Skyward. Congratulations on your body of work for this project.
Best regards,
Chris

surely one of the best Glass project. The award is really yours. So great colors and light. Very nicely done.

Joel Aron   {K:14920} 9/4/2006
Wow Phil!! I love this! It's such a strong abstract, and has so much depth.

The Color is amazing, and captivating. The grad in every shade gives an amazing feel of motion.

well done! Should have more than a BIP award! ;)

cheers mate!
-Joel

Phillip  Minnis    {K:13535} 9/4/2006
Oh, Joel, thank you so much, mate! I appreciate your great comments!

I seem to have hit a 'purple' patch at the moment - I can't believe it! It's almost a bit embarrassing! So many awards! It's all a bit of a fluke! I see so many other photos that are so good without awards. My photos just must appeal to the judges at the moment. I'm sure they'll dry up soon! In six month's time I'll be complaining that I have not had one for months! :)))

I'm very happy with a BIP for this one - my first BIP in the Abstract project! However, if you'd like to award me some more for it, I'll take it! :)))) Only joking! I'm very happy with what I've got!

Once again, buddy, thank you!

Cheers
