About Have played with this image a lot over the last three weeks and I finally came up with this. I applied the smudge-stick effect in PS to add some interest.

Very sweet...and I like the charcoal effect, Rebecca. I use this on some of my photos, too.:)

thankyou Shirley, the backgroound etc on the original was quite a challenge to resolve....hhmmmm, but I am pretty happy with the way this has turned out, glad you liked it too.

This was worth the effort Rebecca. I like the angle and placement of the child within the picture space - very dynamic image! Well done.

Thankyou sooo much for your wonderful comment Joggie, as I said I liked the shot but had few ideas what to do with it, The angle of his face and the light in his eyes caught me and I knew something could come of it. Glad you liked it too.
Cheers, R

Wow I hadn't seen this one. So amazing what you can do once you have a good image - I like this one! Well done!

Sandra, I missed your comment here, so sorry...thankyou so much! This was done on my editing software, I use Adobe Photoshop, and it has many different artistic effect functions that can be applied to any image. This is the charcoal one (really Bek? Why did you call it Connor in Charcoal then ....LOL I'm going nuts Sandra!) so shop around when you look for what you want to work with. Glad you liked this and thanks again for your great comment.
crazy smiles to you , B
