Hi kes and thanks for your comment. I often use pol filter when shooting in a sunny day. Here i choosed it cause i worked with white against black, red and blue and that can be tricky.

Eh - what do you mean Jan? The artefact is the viechel you mean....and her dress is traditional? Her dress is folklorisitic, especially the black vest which has special handmade typical flowers from Dalarna in sweden. I like to use unfitting locations for my fashion AND also portrait photos. You will see!!!

Beautiful portrait. I like the angle very much and the contrast between the hair and skin tones of the model against the deep blue sky. Her body reflects movement and the wind on her hair accentuates this feeling very effectively.

HI Roby - no she´s not my daughter. I saw her when she where out with her dog and i was on my way to town. I immediate stoped my bike and asked her if she would like to be photographed. After that she has been my model from time to time....

everything in this portrait is very fascinating... i love the contrast between the rusty relics of modern civilization (well, today i'm in the mood for poetic comments... :>) and the stunning beauty and simplicity of the traditional dress... the point of view underlines powerfully the phisical presence of the girl... i love the clouds floating in the clear cold sky and the wind caressing her hair, while the rest of the picture is perfecly still...
and of course the model has got all my approval... :)
simply one of my favourite portraits. straight in my favs!
