About This was done in the gardens and courtyards of a very pretty church while parishioners were taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Had to be discreet at all costs.

Very stylish. The lack of a face gives an air of mystery. I want to see more!

About my portrait in the church court yard "with no face", as you call it: I love your concept, Michele.

Trying to maintain a low key level, because of the sensitivity of the location at the church, I directed her with my best Marcel Marceau impersonation.

As she complied, she dropped her head to check the positioning of her legs. Very fortunate for me, because the somewhat transparent weave on the brim of the hat added a little feminine mystique to the overall image.

I think the dress is spectacular, too. It had a very diaphanous quality to it and kind of moved with the breeze. And there were quite a few admiring glances from other women in the courtyard.

Once again, I love your comment.

Thank you,

Bill, aka Marcel

This looks like a painting as it would be made in the particular light you might find here... I may be imagining things but I see a smile under that brim :-)
