Nat, thank you for your comment. I went back to my specs and I apologize - it was not the 18mm lens, but the 35-70 mm. I think it is good dof considering that it is a zoom lens and not a commercial shot, but rapportage (for a story).
When it really has to be sharp I use a single focal length lens.

I love the angle of this... cool lighthouse. I have one that is local I have photos of... but I wish those lines weren't there... I would love to play with that. :) let me know if it's ok. Tara
