About I photographed Anna and John by torchlight only, which turned out very red on film. I played around with this quite a bit in my software, and added the 'castle', which is actually the facade of a local historic theater.

This reminds me of a meeting of Lancelot and Guinevere at night with Camelot in the backdrop, very evocative.

Barbara Kite   {K:12327} 9/14/2006
I see what you mean, I bet it would have been beautiful if it had been the way you wanted, it is lovely in black and white, I enjoyed it anyway.

Shirley D. Cross   {K:141852} 9/14/2006
Thank you, again, Barbara!:)

Renato Haber   {K:7228} 9/14/2006
Beautiful photoart,Shirlley!
Well done!

May I ask you one question... I guess your artworks are fantastic, and sometimes I think how much time you take to "produce" a shot like that. It is so produced and different, a lot of details...

Can you tell me?

Best wishes,
Renato

Shirley D. Cross   {K:141852} 9/14/2006
I'm not sure what you want to know, but I'd be glad to share, if you can be more specific. Thank you so very much, dear Renato!:)

Renato Haber   {K:7228} 9/14/2006
Again, your creations are so amazing!

I imagine how much work amd how much time you use in a single artwork like that. I asked you how much time you used in this shot for example...

Best wishes,
Renato

Shirley D. Cross   {K:141852} 9/14/2006
Oh, thank you again, Renato! I really have no idea how much time I've spent on this one, since I've come back to it and reworked it several times...trying different effects...a lot of time on it, though.:)
