The lighting was actually rather strong during the making of this image. I was hoping it would not be too harsh. It seems it worked out nicely with her lovely soft eyes! :)

Aniko, another fabulous portarit! LOVE it, there is an intensity in her eyes taht balances the dreamy feel to the shot perfectly. What filter application did you use on this to get this effect?

Hi Rebecca. Thank you so much! This shot was "straight" with tungsten lamps and no diffusers. I was a little concerned at first that it might be too "hard", but i wanted those catch lights in her eyes very strongly. (I'm surprised the poor girl wasn't blinded!!!) The softness in her face was achieved in PS with a very slight "smart blur", which interestingly enough did not soften down her eyes! The image was cropped into square format and canvas rotated, as the girl is laying down. I thought the intensity of her look was better in this position. I hope that explains how I did it. I find it difficult to explain things sometimes... lol!

Yes, I named her Fawn Raschelle. Her natural father is part Cherokee Indian, and she has huge brown eyes with the longest lashes!

How lovely, Shirley! I have some wonderful part cherokee friends, one of whom lives not far from me here in Australia.
This lovely girl is mostly Italian, and also has Egyptian blood. There are two photos here of her sister... I often work with sisters... this young lady is into acting, her sister is a model... The images of her sister I speak of are "Winter Warmth" and "Casual Fashion". Both girls are very beautiful (inside and out!) :)
