Very nice. I think that the symmetrical placement of the car is very important to this shot, as is the post processing - very stark, very 1968 (or 1969 - I can't tell without seeing the bumper.. LOL...) I agree with the poster who suggested it would make a dandy album cover. I don't agree with the poster who suggested removing the background rooflines. I think that the assymetrical background provides an important contrast to the symmetry of the VW silhouette. Without the background the subject is in danger of being dismissed as nothing more than just a quick sketch or graphic. As it is, the various elements (subject, background, high-contrast, toning) work together in this photograph to evoke a strong sense of both place and time. This is a very well thought-out image, and extremely well done.
