Thanks for your input Les ~ I agree on the saturation.. I have gone back and slightly desaturated the original ~ although these gulls do have rather striking beaks and feet ~ LOL!

Excellent capture and wonderful detail. I must be "gull-able" since I thought the beak looked natural. Not so sure saturation is an issue.
